BURY EM' DEEP!

Carter and Tye love to visit Grandparents! We recently went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Jensen. Grandpa taught Carter how to play BURY EM' DEEP, SO THEY DON'T STINK! A game he made up for me and my cousins to play when we had nothing better to do. Tye even likes playing it....mainly for the ride on the blanket!

Leave it up to Grandpa to think of pointless games that are always a hit with the kids!

TIMBER!!!

Just this last weekend, Austin decided to cut down the biggest tree in our yard! YIPPIE no more raking leaves for months and months! It was a big project! We had half of the neighborhood cheering him on! We also had a lot of help from our great neighbor Steve!

Park City Weekend

Silly me, I forgot our camera....But this last weekend, Austin and I took our boys for a weekend getaway to Park City. We had so much fun! It turned out that my parent's were up there staying in their condo for their anniversary.....So on Saturday night, Austin and I were able to go out for a date. We ate dinner at Crown Burger (an superb choice), and we went to see the comedian Frank Caliendo. He was so halrious. We had an excellent time laughing our rears off!
My favorite impersonation: George Bush....HALARIOUS!
We had a pool at the hotel that we were staying at, but it was crowded with highschool students...So we were lucky that we could go and swim at my parent's condo. We took Carter's lifejacket so that we wouldn't have to worry about him falling in. He was scared of the water at first....then a little boy that was about his age came swimming.....Carter quickly wanted to jump in the water just like "his friend". He did pretty good! Tye on the other hand HATED the water. I don't know if it was because it was a bit cold or if it was just to much water for him to handle, but he screamed the whole 5 or 6 seconds that he was in the water. The sad part is that it was a terrified cry. He was so scared he was shaking. Poor little guy! I think that we'll just stick to bath tubs for a while!!

We were sad when it was time to go home (or at least I was), It was nice not having to worry about everyday life for a short while! Hopefully we can have a weekend getaway again sometime soon. Who know's where we'll go next!
